Rochester Area Democratic Club Meeting

USUALLY 2nd Thursday of the month - rescheduled to avoid conflict with MDP Legacy Dinner.

The guest speaker at our May meeting will be Christine King who spoke about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the MDP's Leadership Summit which many of us attended. Her remarks were well received, and she was one of the most popular presenters at the Summit. She has since been a featured speaker for several Democratic groups. We look forward to her presentation.

The Executive Committee will be considering the following proposed Bylaws Amendments:

• Article IV, Section 2 - Adding Committee Chairs to Officers
• Article VI, Section 6 - Quarterly General Membership Meetings
• Article IX, Section 1 - Amending the process by which bylaw amendments are proposed
• Article IV, Section 2 - Remove At-Large Appointed Officer roles

Mike will share entertaining, historical, sometimes political information about the evolution of Oakland County over the generations. While only in his 30’s, Mike is a long-time Democratic activist, and his enthusiasm is contagious!
