One Campaign for Michigan is preparing to win in 2020 by organizing Days of Action to encourage voters to participate in the March 10 Presidential Primary. Volunteers are needed to help make phone calls and send text messages asking Democrats to request their absentee ballot for the March 10 Primary.

We have great candidates to choose from. It's up to us to turnout in large numbers to send the message that Michigan is ready to support our Democratic Presidential candidate and defeat Trump.

Please join ONE Campaign to participate in phone banks to help get out the vote for the March 10th presidential primary.

Precinct Delegate Orientation & Training: What you need to know about what it means to be a Precinct Delegate and how to get elected or re-elected for this office in 2020

This Orientation and Training is perfect for first-time candidates for Precinct Delegate who are considering taking this important step to help elect Democrats. It is also suitable for current or returning Precinct Delegates who would like a refresher or to check out what's new!

Join your fellow Democrats to have a great time and boost our membership going into 2020! The more members we have, the more change we can make in Oakland County.

We will have pizza and prizes for volunteers!

Please bring a charged phone, a laptop/tablet, and headphones with a microphone if you prefer. We will provide training and a script!

Because our normal meeting date (2nd Tuesday of the month) falls on Election Day, the OCDP Board has voted to reschedule the meeting to MONDAY, MARCH 16TH.

The meeting will be at 7:00pm at the Local Plumbers 98 Hall in Madison Heights

January Meeting

Michigan House Democrats (MHD) will host a campaign training on Sunday, November 10th from 10:00-3:00 pm in Madison Heights. This is an opportunity for current and future candidates, their campaign team or volunteers, to get started for 2020 and to connect with MHD. We will also be on site to review any materials they may have made for the 2020 election - a campaign plan, finance plan, communication plan, field plan, ect.

Dear Fellow Democrats,

It has become clear that the original Call to Convention that was supposed to be sent on November 13th was not properly mailed. Our goal as Democrats is always to open our party and welcome all who want to participate. Without proper notice, this is not possible. 

As a result, I have consulted with the Michigan Democratic Party and received permission to reschedule our Convention so that everyone can receive proper two weeks notice. We must have our Convention before the end of the year, so please stay tuned for the new date and time.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and problems this has generated.

We had a very successful election year and many people gave their time and talents to make Oakland County the epicenter of Michigan’s Blue Wave. I hope we can build on this momentum going forward.
