Please join us on Saturday, June 18 from 10-2pm. Commemorating National Freedom Day in our hometown of West Bloomfield, MI. A free, fun, family-friendly event. Juneteenth honors the day the final enslaved people were emancipated in June 1865 and celebrates the countless contributions of African Americans to our community & nation. Music, arts, performances, refreshments, vendors and storytelling. Kids area, African Dance, WBHS Jazz Band, and more. Join us! More information at juneteenthWB.org

Founded by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, the Black History 101 Mobile Museum is an award winning collection of original artifacts of Black memorabilia dating from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era and spanning to current hip-hop culture. All ages welcome.
