Black History 101 Museum

Saturday, February 5 from 12-3 pm at West Bloomfield Township Public Library

Founded by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, the Black History 101 Mobile Museum is an award winning collection of original artifacts of Black memorabilia dating from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era and spanning to current hip-hop culture. All ages welcome.

Precinct Delegate Affidavit & Notarizing Drive-Up

Sunday, April 26, 1-2pm
West Bloomfield Twp Library Parking Lot
4600 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield 

The Affidavit of Identity form is required to have your name on the August ballot. You can download and print the form by clicking THIS LINK. Complete the form BUT wait to sign it until you are at the gite. The Notary must witness your signature and verify your identity. Paper forms will also be available at each site.

How it works:
Applicants drive into the parking lot and STAY IN YOUR CAR.

Bring your completed form or ask for a blank form, show your ID through the window and sign in front of the notary, drop the signed form into a large box at the site and you are done! Only takes a few minutes. The notarized form will be delivered to the Oakland County Clerk in Pontiac for you. At the site, we wear masks and gloves and observe safe distancing. There is no touch between you or us.

IMPORTANT: Forms must be at the OC Clerk's office by 4pm on TUESDAY, MAY 5 to have your name on the ballot for August.

This Orientation and Training is perfect for first-time candidates for Precinct Delegate who are considering taking this important step to help elect Democrats. It is also suitable for current or returning Precinct Delegates who would like a refresher or to check out what's new!
