WHAT:  We will be presenting and reviewing of election results and initial analysis and discussing where we go from here as a Party.

7:00pm - Group discussions begin on election debrief

7:40pm - Groups report back to full group on most important takeaways

8:00pm - Group discussions begin for next steps for the Democratic Party

Dear Friend,

I have always stressed the value of public education in Michigan. As a proud product of the Berkley Schools and as the son of both a public school teacher and former school board member, I know the importance of public education. 

This Saturday, I am pleased to partner with my colleagues Rep. Chris Greig of Farmington Hills and Rep. Jeremy Moss of Southfield to give you a legislative update on the education policy we've discussed in Lansing and to share with you why the upcoming election will significantly impact public education in the future. Please join us!

In lieu of our October monthly meeting, we're hosting a Halloween party / brief break from election craziness. 

Costumes are strongly encouraged--and there will be prizes for the best dressed. Bonus points if your costume is politically themed.

Where: WAB (Woodward Avenue Brewery) in Ferndale

$5 suggested donation to help cover food

The North Oakland Democratic Club will be at Taste of Clarkston!  Our booth will be on Washington St, just east of Main St (please see attached map)
 
We will have voter "slate cards", campaign literature and some candidate yard signs, as well as buttons for sale.
 
Please join us, help us staff the booth!  Let me know if you want to participate. 
 
Renaissance school parking lot shuttles (from Clarkston Elementary and Clarkston Middle School - Waldon Rd near Cherrylawn) should start at 10:00 am instead of 11:30 am. Clarkston High School lot buses run from 11:30 am-6:30 pm
