Dear Friend,

I have always stressed the value of public education in Michigan. As a proud product of the Berkley Schools and as the son of both a public school teacher and former school board member, I know the importance of public education.

This Saturday, I am pleased to partner with my colleagues Rep. Chris Greig of Farmington Hills and Rep. Jeremy Moss of Southfield to give you a legislative update on the education policy we've discussed in Lansing and to share with you why the upcoming election will significantly impact public education in the future. Please join us!

What: An Education Legislative and Campaign Update

Where: Oakland Community College's Southfield Campus, 22322 Rutland Drive, in Room A201

When: Saturday, October 22, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

With Special Guest: John Austin, President of the State Board of Education

Bring your questions, thoughts, and concerns about public education in Michigan, and let's discuss ways we can all work together to improve it. I look forward to seeing you on October 22!

Thank you,
