The Michigan Democratic Party is seeking Election Challengers for the 2020 elections, starting with the March 10 presidential primary. You can make an important contribution to our democracy by volunteering for this important role on Election Day.
The Oakland 8th District Convention will be held to elect (1) Female Delegate to the Credentials Committee; and (1) Male and (1) Female Alternate Delegate to the Resolutions Committee
Resolutions to the convention will be voted upon to determine if they will be forwarded to the MDP Resolutions Committee for review and approval.

Agenda: The Committee shall meet to consider rules for the State Convention and to receive training in those rules and on proportional voting. A call in option will be provided to District Chairs for distribution to committee members.

Agenda: The Committee shall meet to consider resolutions proposed by County and District Conventions for the State Convention’s consideration. A call in option will be provided to District Chairs for distribution to committee members.
Credentials
The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party at the convention if necessary.
The purpose of this meeting is to elect a new Chair, as the previous Chair Griffen Rivers has resigned effecitve February 20 and moved to Lousiana.
To vote in this election, you must be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party 30 days prior to the election.
Credentialing will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the meeting will be begin at 10:30 a.m.
Candiates are invited to speak to the group.

CALL TO CONVENTION
We'll be electing our Oakland County Democratic Party's Executive Committee Tuesday at 7pm in Madison Heights at the Plumbers Local 98 Hall at 555 Horace Brown Drive. Please arrive at 6:30 pm for check-in.
Although only Precinct Delegates officially have voting rights for this election, all Democratic activists are welcome.
We will also have time set aside for Dems to meet other Dems from their Party of the County to meet..
