ONE - Six Cities Precinct Delegate Strategy Session

This meeting is for precinct delegates in the six cities (Berkley, Huntington Woods, Oak Park, RO Township, Pleasant Ridge, and Ferndale) and will focus on strategizing and activating volunteers in the wake of the August 4th primary.

We will be thanking our precinct delegates for their hard work during the primary, and discussing how we will work together as we get closer to election day! This meeting will be led by your precinct delegate liaisons in the six cities as well as your local One Campaign organizers.

This meeting will be conducted over Zoom and we will send a link beforehand.

Join Michigan women in Oakland County for a virtual phone bank! This is a huge year for Michigan, and we need all hands on deck to send Joe Biden to the White House, re-elect Senator Gary Peters and Congresswoman Haley Stevens, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot. You can help take part in this crucial effort by making calls from home!

Each event will kick off with a quick training to make sure you have all the information you need to have a fun and successful shift. We'll provide you with a virtual list of phone numbers to call and a script to help guide your conversation. All you need to make calls is a phone, computer or tablet, and access to the internet. Once you sign-up, you'll receive an email with a link to access the training.

11th Congressional District Democratic Convention

As Per the MDP Rules, the 11th Congressional District Democratic Party will be conducting a convention in order to select delegates for the Convention Committees in Credentialing, Rules, and Platform/Resolutions Convention Committees to meet in advance of the August 29th and 30th MDP Convention.

Notice: Once Convention business is closed a general membership meeting will commence after a 10 minute recess

Also:
In order to Vote and/or run for a member/alternate on a convention committee you have to have done one of the following:

• Be a registered member of the MDP by July 30th, this waived to a day-of registration if:
  • you are an elected official of the Democratic Party
  • Have won a Democratic nomination in the state primary for 2020
  • were elected Precinct Delegate in the State Primary election
