OCDP's Education Subcommittee invites you to a virtual meet-and-greet on Friday, July 22nd at 6pm. Introduce yourself to your constituents and contribute to our conversation surrounding education and school safety. Candidate introductions start at 6pm. Open discussion from 7-8pm.

It’s a school board election year once again!! Caregivers, educators, community members and youth across the state are gearing up for what is for sure going to be school board elections like we’ve never seen before in Michigan.

Sign up to express interest in being a school board candidate in 2022 and to join MEJC in ensuring we have Healthy and Healing Schools across Michigan. This sign up will get you access into school board candidate trainings MEJC is working on with Great Lakes Political Academy where we will ensure you have the tools to run a campaign and also are equipped with critical information regarding the most pressing issues in our schools such as mental health resources, student safety, teacher shortages, and the constant funding and equity challenges facing our schools.

Please join Congressman Andy Levin for the February meeting of the 9th District Democratic Party featuring special guest, Emily Boyer, Director of Party affairs for the Michigan Democratic Party to talk about how redistricting will affect congressional Democratic parties.

Rust Belt Rising works with Michigan Democratic candidates and activists among its network of more than four hundred leaders in six Midwest states. Rising helps Democrats be the party of working people by training campaigns to better connect with our region's voters, win seats, and deliver change.
