Sat. July 29 4 pm – 8 pm – NODC Annual Summer Picnic, this year at the home of Fred and Nancy Miller, 875 N Baldwin Rd, Oxford, Mi 48371 Food, Fun, and Candidates!
Adults $10 each, Children under 18 $5 each, Please bring a dish to pass, NODC will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, water
Also, please bring a donation for our ongoing support of the Oxford/Orion FISH Food Pantry

RADC Annual Picnic and Membership Drive

Dear Rochester Area Democrats,
Our twenty-first annual Family Picnic in the Park promises to be a great one. It will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 1-3 pm at the same location as last year--the Kiwanis Pavilion in the Rochester Municipal Park, which is off Pine Street near the corner of Rochester Road and University and behind the Municipal and Police Building over the bridge. All food and beverages provided by the RADC.
We are delighted to have Democratic Leader Tim Greimel from the Michigan House of Representatives and Melissa Gilbert, candidate for the 8th Congressional District, as our special guests. We have all been proud of Tim's achievements as an elected official who began his rise to leadership in the Rochester area. You may have heard about Melissa's candidacy recently. She was the star of the Little House on the Prairie television show as a child. She has served two terms as President of the Screen Actor's Guild and has served as Vice President of the AFL-CIO Executive Council. Melissa will be a high profile candidate in the next election. Other elected officials and candidates have been invited as well.
Invite friends and guests to the picnic, as this is a great time to engage those who share our progressive values and ideals to organize around issues and campaigns. The attached flyer contains additional details. You may also call 248-656-8891 for further information.

OCDP Summer Picnic at VFW Park in Royal Oak

In place of our August meeting we will be having our Summer picnic on Monday, August 24th from 6-8 p.m. at the VFW Park in Royal Oak.
Our special guest for this event will be newly elected MDP Chair Brandon Dillon.
We will have some campaign buttons for sale at the picnic!
VFW Park is bordered by S. Campbell, E. Lincoln, S. Wilson, and E. 6th St. in Royal Oak, West of I-75, South of 11 Mile Rd

Troy Club Summer Picnic

Saturday July 25, 2015. The TDC will host its annual picnic fund raiser at the usual site – Raintree Park, John R road – west side, just below Wattles Rd. Noon to 3pm. $15 per person – $25 for families. Sponsors welcomed. This is a fund raiser after all. Tony Trupiano promised to join us – and we hope some of our favorite legislators will also. Got a favorite dish – bring it along to share. Volunteers for set up/clean up are always needed and welcomed.
