Webinar: Water Access During Coronavirus

Friday, April 10, 2020 - 2:00pm

MI League of Conservation Voters Webinar: The Statewide Fight for Water Access During Coronavirus

Facebook Event Page

This Friday April 10th from 2:00-3:00pm, please join us for our webinar: "You Can't Wash Your Hands Without Water: The Statewide Fight For Water Access During Coronavirus" featuring Michigan LCV Executive Director Lisa Wozniak, We the People of Detroit President & CEO Monica Lewis-Patrick and State Senator Stephanie Chang with a special performance from Grover Easterling III.

Nothing crystallizes more than "water is life" than not having it to save yourself and your family from a deadly virus. COVID-19 is illuminating the grave water injustices plaguing communities across the state of Michigan, in particular, the lack of access to clean, safe and affordable drinking water. We hope you can join us Friday for this important discussion on the outstanding work that has been done by advocates to make clear EVERYONE deserves access to clean, safe, affordable drinking water and how we can mobilize to ensure it turns on and stays on.

We will also cover some recent actions by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on this critical issue.
