Join us at our March meeting. Our guest speaker will be Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. If you've never heard Ms. Nessel speak before, you don't want to miss this meeting!

Children are welcome at our meetings (we have a special kid's table for them). All of our monthly meetings are free and open to the public.

Our guest speaker will be from Babies over Billionaires, a group pushing for a state-wide progressive income tax. We will also hear from Lori Savin, candidate for Oakland County Circuit Court, and will hear reports from local elected officials.

If you are interested in serving as a precinct delegate, we will have forms and notaries at this meeting. 

Our meetings are always free, kid-friendly, and open to the public. Membership dues are $10 per person per year, but dues are not required to attend our meetings.

Royal Oak Democrats December Meeting and Holiday Potluck Breakfast

Our guest speaker will be Lisa Mason from Common Ground Sanctuary. Common Ground Sanctuary operates a free, safe, 24-hour shelter for at-risk youth in Royal Oak. Many of the youth served here suffer from severe trauma and neglect. We will take up a collection for this worth-while organization. If you would like to contribute, please bring a check payable to "Common Ground" to the meeting.

We will also be visited by David Coulter, the new Democratic Oakland County Executive!

Our guest speaker will be from Voters Not Politicians, the grassroots group that won the constitutional amendment to ban gerrymandering in Michigan. VNP will have information on how to apply for the new boundary commission, which will be charged with writing fair and representative boundaries for political districts in Michigan.
