You may have heard that there was small fire at the Royal Oak Senior Center. This might prevent us from having our meeting there this Saturday, Februrary 4th at 10am.
Our preference is to meet at the Senior Center if that is possible. We will find out tomorrow. If we cannot meet at the Senior Center we will attempt to meet at the Royal Oak Library. If their auditorium is already booked, then our emergency backup location is Fifth Avenue, 215 W. 5th Street in downtown Royal Oak. In sum, we definitely will meet Saturday, February 4th at 10am, but we will not know where until sometime tomorrow.
We're thinking about starting each meeting with song. You may remember we had a club choir before the covid lockdown; this would be a little different, an "everyone" sing-along. February Monthly Meeting

We will be spending time unpacking the new maps that have been drawn for Michigan and discussing the implications of the new districts fir Royal Oak and Clawson. If you've been meaning to sit down and make sense of them - this is the meeting for you! The Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission adopted its Chestnut Congressional, Linden state Senate, and Hickory state House plans.
