On Sunday, April 17th, the FFHDC is hosting a free screening of "Pay 2 Play" at the library. The movie is about the corrosive effect of big money on our democracy. The doors open at 1:45pm, and everyone is welcome.

This is a special joint meeting of the FFHDC and the West Bloomfield/ Lakes Area Democratic Club. Our agenda will feature a discussion led by Jerry Burden, President of the League of Women Voters Oakland Area, covering some of the work the League does in redistricting, campaign finance, transportation, water quality and citizen education.

We will also get updates from a number of government office holders, such as State Senator Gregory, State Representative Greig, Oakland County Commissioners Jackson and Gershenson, and Councilman Bridges. 

In addition, Oakland County Democrats interested in running for a precinct delegate position can get their Precinct Delegate Affidavit of Identity notorized at this meeting.
