Precinct Delegate Rally

Four Democratic Clubs in north Oakland County are planning a Democratic Rally to recruit and train Precinct Delegates and welcome new members.  The North Oakland Democratic Club, Rochester Area Democratic Club, Pontiac Democratic Club, and Waterford Democratic Club will host the Rally that will take place on Saturday morning, April 16, 2016. The Rally will be held from 10 am until noon at UAW 5960 which is located at 180 East Silver Bell Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360.   

 Guest speakers will include:

  • Brandon Dillon,  Chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party,                                  
  • Michigan Representative Tim Greimel,  House Democratic Leader
  • Frank Houston,  Chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party,
  • Amanda Klein,  Director of Operations of the Oakland County Democratic Party.

RADC Annual Picnic and Membership Drive

Dear Rochester Area Democrats,
    
     Our twenty-first annual Family Picnic in the Park promises to be a great one.  It will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 1-3 pm at the same location as last year--the Kiwanis Pavilion in the Rochester Municipal Park, which is off Pine Street near the corner of Rochester Road and University and behind the Municipal and Police Building over the bridge.  All food and beverages provided by the RADC. 

     We are delighted to have Democratic Leader Tim Greimel from the Michigan House of Representatives and Melissa Gilbert, candidate for the 8th Congressional District, as our special guests. We have all been proud of Tim's achievements as an elected official who began his rise to leadership in the Rochester area. You may have heard about Melissa's candidacy recently. She was the star of the Little House on the Prairie television show as a child.  She has served two terms as President of the Screen Actor's Guild and has served as Vice President of the AFL-CIO Executive Council. Melissa will be a high profile candidate in the next election.  Other elected officials and candidates have been invited as well.

     This is reminder that there is a Rochester Area Democratic Club Meeting this Thursday evening, June 11, 2015, at 7 pm.  Our guest speaker is County Treasurer Andy Meissner.  The meeting will take place at East Side Marios, 2273 Crooks Rd, Rochester Hills (intersection of Crooks and M-59). Many members arrive at 6:30 P.M. so they can order what they would like to eat before the meeting begins. Call 248-656-8891 if you need more information.
