Dec. 21 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at C-Pub in Canterbury Village 2325 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48360  The meeting will be an “activist night”, with speakers from the Sierra Club of Michigan, Planned Parenthood Action of Michigan, and the Economic Justice Alliance of Michigan.  Please bring packaged and canned food for the Orion/Oxford FISH Food Pantry

NODC at Taste of Clarkston

The North Oakland Democratic Club will be at Taste of Clarkston!  Our booth will be on Washington St, just east of Main St (please see attached map)
 
We will have voter "slate cards", campaign literature and some candidate yard signs, as well as buttons for sale.
 
Please join us, help us staff the booth!  Let me know if you want to participate. 
 
Renaissance school parking lot shuttles (from Clarkston Elementary and Clarkston Middle School - Waldon Rd near Cherrylawn) should start at 10:00 am instead of 11:30 am. Clarkston High School lot buses run from 11:30 am-6:30 pm

Sat. Aug. 20 4 pm – 8 pm – NODC Annual Summer Picnic, this year at the home of Fred and Nancy Miller, 875 N Baldwin Rd, Oxford, Mi 48371 Food, Fun, and Candidates!  

Adults $10 each, Children under 18 $5 each, Please bring a dish to pass, NODC will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, water

Also, please bring a donation for our ongoing support of the Oxford/Orion FISH Food Pantry

NODC at Lone Ranger Parade in Oxford

The North Oakland Democratic Club plans to participate in the Lone Ranger Parade in Oxford, Saturday August 6 11:00 a.m. We will meet at the Oxford Marketplace, 208 S Washington, Oxford, MI 48071 at 10:00 a.m.

The parade will end at the Oxford Fire Dept., north end of town just past the bridge (Church St).  The parade route is less than 1 mile.

Construction Alert - Lapeer Rd (M242) is under construction from the Palace of Auburn Hills to Lake Orion -Silverbell Rd intersection is closed)

The NODC will be there to support our countywide candidates and, our congressional, and Presidential candidate.

 

Detroit River Boat Cruise with the NODC

Join the NODC for a Detroit River Cruise Saturday 08.22.15 noon at Diamond Jack’s River Cruise, Rivard Plaza Dock, 1340 Atwater St, Detroit, MI 48207, tickets are $10 if you R.S.V.P in time to claim two of the 16 tickets we have bought in advance.  Normal prices are approx. $19.  The two hour tour begins at 1 pm.  Contact Phil Reid 248-922-9203 if you would like to reserve a ticket.
