9/15/08 We Can't Affort More Republican Failures

Last week John Ashcraft from
Troy spoke at the Barack Obama's Economic
Town Hall meeting in Farmington.  John is an unemployed
 white collar worker who’s trying to keep on top of mounting bills
while looking for work.  John spoke frankly about the effects the
Bush/McCain economy is having on his family. Click

There’s no clearer reason why we need
a change in the White House than John’s story. 

However, I wish John’s story was
unique.  But it’s not. 

It’s the story of tens of thousands
of families in Oakland County who are dealing with same issues
right now. 

Barack Obama spoke very clearly about
his plan of getting Oakland County and the country back on track and
moving forward – tax cuts for the middle class, investing in a green energy
economy to create 5 million new jobs, supporting small business, and working
with organized labor, not against it.

As bad as things are it’s no wonder
that John McCain, George Bush, Karl Rove and the Republican Attack Machine are
already lying about their own economic record and distorting Obama’s. 

You
can help the Oakland County Democratic Party fight back against the Republican
Attack Machine by making a donation of $100, $50, $25 or whatever you can afford
to help set the record straight and make sure voters know the
truth.

the Republican Attack Machine won’t stop with Obama.

Oakland County Treasurer’s Candidate Andy Meisner to State Representative
Candidates Lisa Brown and Vickie Barnett  to Oakland County
Commissioners Tim Burns and Karen Spector are all the targets of vicious
Republican attacks.
