Are you passionate about schools and want to take action? Here’s how you can be part of the largest education justice movement in Michigan. The stakes are high. We must come together to protect our public schools, our history, and our children.

You’re invited to MEJC’s virtual launch party where we’ll officially kick off our 2022 healthy and healing school boards campaign. And what better way to do that on Martin Luther King Day, as our work honors his legacy of social justice.

There’ll be a mix of info sessions and fun activities lined up, including:

• feature testimonials from parents, caregivers, teachers and students about why healthy and healing schools matters to them

• a presentation on school funding

• a self care/yoga session

• workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion, mental health, expulsion prevention

• learn more about your local school board and easy ways to get involved
