Rochester Area Club

Our guest speaker will be Dave Woodward, Chair of the Oakland County Commissioners. For those of you who have heard Dave present before, we know you will not want to miss this meeting. He is an exciting and dynamic speaker. For those of you who have not previously heard Dave speak, you are in for a treat.

Following Dave's presentation, members in good standing for at least 30 days will be asked to vote on three proposed amendments to our current Bylaws submitted by RADC member Bruce Fealk. We will have copies of our current Bylaws and the proposed amendments at the meeting. However, for members who intend to vote, we ask that you review the proposed amendments and current Bylaws before the meeting. The proposed amendments will require the approval of 2/3rds of the members present before our Bylaws can be amended to reflect the proposed amendments. Only current members can vote on the proposed amendments.

The Board has also decided to postpone the vote on three Bylaws amendments proposed by RADC member Bruce Fealk because (i) we have had many new people join as members of the Club in just the past few weeks and (ii) we want to give them a chance to vote because one must be member in good standing for at least 30 days in order to vote on the proposed amendments to our current Bylaws.
