Planned Parenthood September Activist Night

I invite you to join me at Starr Jacyee Park in Royal Oak at 6pm on September 27th for our September Activist Night! This will be our first in-person meeting together since I began this position in June 2022. We will gather outdoors under the small east pavilion and spend our time catching up on the state of reproductive rights in Michigan and the US, getting to know each other beyond zoom screens, and strategize our plans moving forward.  The pavilion has room for 25 people—which would definitely exceed our average zoom attendance—but I do suggest bringing a bag chair on the off chance we run out of picnic table space. I will have our *new* Keep Abortion Safe and Legal shirts available as well as other pink goodies for folks to take home. Masks are required for those unvaccinated and encouraged for those vaccinated. Feel free to bring a friend, all are welcome. Please register here if you plan on attending so I know how many shirts to plan for.
