West Bloomfield/Lakes Area Democratic Club Food Collection Drive

In response to the overwhelming need for food donations due to COVID and the dire economic circumstances of some of our nearby residents, the WBL Democratic Club will sponsor a safe, drive-up food collection. The donated items will benefit the Pontiac Area Food Program, coordinated by the Oakland County Poverty & Homeless Task Force. Their volunteers have stepped up for the past 12 weeks to provide hundreds of food boxes to needy local families and seniors. They are in great need of non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and paper products. Please support this club activity and be as generous as you can.

Drive up, no need to get out of your car! We will have volunteers to unload

Needed items include:

• Non-perishable food goods
• Cleaning supplies, hand and dish soap
• Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
• Clorox wipes, hand sanitizers

Checks are also welcome, made out to "Band of Brothers, designated for Pontiac Food Program" a 501c3 charity that handles their donations. Receipts provided to your email address, please include. Checks may be dropped off at the drive-up site.
