Rep. Moss Fracking Townhall

Rep. Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield) will host an event featuring Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash to provide residents information on oil and gas exploration and drilling, including “fracking,” or horizontal hydraulic fracturing. Oil and gas companies are ramping up their efforts in our district, and residents are rightly concerned about risks to the environment, including our water resources.

The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m., in the auditorium at Southfield Public Library, located at 26300 Evergreen Road in Southfield. The presentation should last about an hour, with time set aside for questions and answers.
