Caught on Tape Video

How would you like to capture the Republicans' next "Macaca Moment?"

Last year, former Senator George Allen showed us what happens when Republicans forget that cameras are rolling. His 'Macaca' slur helped sink his campaign -- but only because someone like you was there to capture it.

 Dear Activist,

Last week, Howard Dean reminded you of how important our grassroots Rapid Response Network is to our campaign to expand our Democratic Majority and asked you to join us to help hold Republicans accountable for their lies, distortions, and attacks.

To kick off our campaign and show you how committed we are to the work you can do, we launched our latest Web video, "Caught on Tape" showing some of these Republican 'greatest hits.'

Check out our "Caught on tape" video and then submit your own.

This year, the Republicans picked up right where they left off. Recently, Republican Congressman Joe Knollenberg's Chief of Staff had a public meltdown that was caught on tape and put on the Internet within minutes. As Republicans speak first -- and ask if the camera is rolling later -- we need your help to capture these moments and make them part of our campaign.

With 2008 fast approaching, the DCCC is urgently mobilizing our Rapid Responders to be our eyes and ears on the campaign trail. Our goal is to make sure that every time -- anywhere in America -- when a Republican crosses the line with one of their attacks, someone is there to capture it.

Check out our "Caught on tape" video and then submit your own.

Thank you for being part of our Rapid Response Network, can you help us by asking five of your friends to join too?

Sincerely,

Brian Wolff, DCCC
Executive Director

PS -- The next time a Republican has a 'Macaca Moment,' will you be there to capture it? The power to hold Republicans accountable for their lies, distortions, and attacks belongs to you. Please be our eyes and ears on the frontlines and check out our video today.
