PIZZA & POLITICS!!

You are Invited…Free to WBL Members and Friends

• Sunday, October 10, 2021 from Noon to 2 pm
• Location:  West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation PARKING LOT (outdoors at the South end of the lot), 4640 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield
• Program:  Lively political talk, candidates & elected officials have been invited, chance to visit with friends

• Menu:  Pizza (both vegetarian and meat), snacks, bottled water

Help us be environmentally responsible and bring your own *water bottle* or beverage.  However, water will be available for all.

Details:

• Join us for lunch at the picnic tables.  However, for comfort you may wish to bring your own chair.

• Opportunity to join or renew your club membership for 2022.  ($20 cash or check to WBL Democratic Club)

• Chance to verify that your club and Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) memberships are both up to date and you are eligible to run or vote in the club election in November
• Time to sign the petition to place Gov. Whitmer on the ballot if you have not already done so (you may only sign once!)

Charity Donation (optional)

WBL will be collecting new items for children who are patients at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.  The following are needed for younger kids to help them pass the time when at the hospital:

Coloring books, crayons, drawing pads of paper, markers, pens, stickers, small books or puzzles (items must be NEW and in original packaging, if possible, for safety reasons)

This is an optional project but WBL members have been most generous with previous activities.  Thank you for your consideration.

IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER:

• If the weather is too cold or rainy, we will cancel and notify everyone by email and post on our club Facebook page.
• Of course, you’ll want to dress for an outdoor event that day

This event is hosted by WBL Dems Executive Committee in response to many requests for an outdoor, in-person gathering before the weather turns too cold.
